@papr We are doing an experiment using pupil headset for ADHD diagnosis. We want to add a world camera to the foundation to observe a more detailed view. But When we connect the pupil headset and the added world camera to the computer, we found that the world camera in pupil headset and the added camera have the same name, vid and pid. So we don't know how to distinguish the two camera in source code. Could you help providing some advice, thanks?

@user-274d5d are you using Pupil software or custom software. Are you using Windows?

user-274d5d 26 February, 2019, 04:16:56

@wrp Yes, I'm using the Pupil software on Windows.

wrp 26 February, 2019, 04:36:44

Ok, so unfortunately sensors might show up with the same Product name on Windows due to the way Windows handles drivers/firmware

But you should be able to select the world and the eye camera in Pupil Capture, but may require some trial/error to see which is which due to naming ambiguities

@wrp Ok, thanks for your kind answer. We will conduct some trials to find the solution.
