Hi Everyone, our lab has just received the Pupil labs eye tracker. It is great to have a forum with previous questions! I will go over them, but have several questions to get me started...What calibration method would you recommend using for eye tracking during fast movement within ranges of between 1.5-3 meters (the gaze distance will change within this range during the trials) - the manual, single, or nature calibration? Also, is anyone knows of information regarding synchronization of eye tracking with motion capture?

I use mobile recordings at about 1.5 mt. and the manual markers calibration seems to do the job for me. I calibrate at a similar distance that will be used in the trials. Further, these manual markers allow for 'mid-recording' re-calibrations which I can quickly do without having to place the subject in front of a screen to do so!

Hi all, I'm a PhD student at the Uni of Liverpool developing a real-world neuroimaging frameworks that capitalizes on the Pupil Eye-tracking in combination with mobile EEG to study the neural correlates of real-world face perception in humans. I would be happy to chat with any akin scientists working on something similar! Cheers V

[email removed] I'm starting a new research project on the same field .... we are trying to analyze data with eyetracking from reciprocal face perception in daily life during natural meeting of people. I'm working at the neurophysiology department of the University of Siena . Lets keep in touch! this is my email [email removed]

Hi @user-8944cb , my research examines gaze behavior among gymnasts while they perform vaulting. I went through number of pilot studies to find the best calibration method, and calibrating from 6m worked best. Also, I used LED light which was positioned in the region of the track that was seen by both, the external camera and the world-camera and used it to synchronise the two. Best wishes

@user-8944cb P.S I've chosen natural features calibration
