⚠️ Important Announcement: Pupil Invisible Users with OnePlus 8 Devices ⚠️
The manufacturer of the Pupil Invisible Companion Devices, OnePlus is currently pushing a faulty update to all OnePlus8 models. The upgrade will wipe all data stored locally on the device. This can lead to data loss if data is not backed up on Pupil Cloud or via manual backup.
For users with OnePlus 8 model Pupil Invisible Companion Devices. Do not install the upgrade when prompted! Make sure that your recording are backed up locally or uploaded to Pupil Cloud. (Pupil Cloud is fully GDPR compliant and all servers are located in Germany.)
Users with OnePlus8T or OnePlus6 are not affected.
Pupil Core software incompatibility with macOS Monterey
Due to a permission issue, Pupil Capture is not able to access the Pupil Core headset cameras on the recently released macOS Monterey. Please wait with updating the OS until this issue has been resolved.
@here 📣 Announcement 📣 - We have just released Pupil Core software v3.5. Download the apps here: https://github.com/pupil-labs/pupil/releases/tag/v3.5
In Pupil v3.5, we cleaned up log messages, improved software stability, fixations are now cached between Pupil Player sessions, and we have fine tuned 3d pupil confidence.
Pupil v3.5 is the first release that supports the new macOS Monterey (with a small caveat - need to run as root from terminal)
