Hey Rob, and thanks for your reply! Eye0 was problematic because the person was wearing mascara on which made her eyelashes darker. She took it off, yet still Eye0 remained affected for some reason, and the model was not stable at all, which affected the recording. I used both eyes until the 3rd recording. After the 3rd recording, I proceeded to use only Eye1 and dismissed Eye0, which had a perfect result. I now want to apply the same to all the recordings Also, I recorded the calibration choreography as well. What do I have to do to export the recording using only info from Eye1 and ignore Eye0? for all of my recordings?

@user-6c9087 Thanks for the clarification. Give this process a try:

  • Backup and move the following files out of the recording directory:
  • eye0_lookup.npy
  • eye0_timestamps.npy
  • eye0.intrinsics
  • eye0.mp4
  • Load the recording into Pupil Player as usual
  • Open the Pupil Data menu on the right and switch to Post-Hoc Pupil Detection. Click Redetect. It will warn about a missing eye video. Simply ignore that and let it run.
  • Once finished, open the Gaze Data menu and switch to Post-Hoc Gaze Calibration. Click Calculate all... and let it run.
  • You should now be able to work with your data and export it.

Hello, there is an issue with the connection cable of our Pupil Core device, and the camera feed is not displaying. Is there anyone who can provide a repair service or assistance?

Hi everyone! I have a question regarding the Pupil Labs eye tracker. I’m currently using it to track, in real time, the words on the screen which the user are looking at in the World view. However, I’ve noticed that the gaze or heat map often has a lot of jitter/noise — it moves left, right, up, and down rapidly, making it hard to stay focused on a single word for a longer time. Are there recommended settings to reduce this jitter (e.g., smoothing or filtering in the default configuration)? Or is it possible to implement custom code to make the gaze data more stable/accurate? Thanks for any advice!

Hi @user-13e552 , may I ask for more clarification about "making it hard to stay focused on a single word"? Would you be able to provide a screen capture/video of what you mean? You can share it via DM or email [email removed] if you prefer.

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I’ve sent an email to data@pupil-labs.com with the video link showing the gaze jitter issue I mentioned earlier. Thanks again for your help!

Hi! I had a session where the two eye cameras went out of sync while running. Since then there was a slight delay between the recordings of the two eyes and the world view always show two gazes, connected by a red line. Are accurate gaze positions still recoverable? Thanks!

Hi @user-764356 , would you be able to share this recording with us [email removed] and we can take a closer look?
