Use Neon to automate automate user behavior studies on any website. Map gaze onto screens using AprilTag markers and track gaze across specific areas of interest (AOIs) on websites.

This guide combines AprilTag marker tracking + Playwright, an open-source automation library for browser testing and web scraping. Together, these tools enable you to define AOIs on a website (specific images, text blocks, or any html element) and map gaze data accurately, even while scrolling.

Data can easily be visualized in heatmaps. All your mapped data is exported into CSV files.
