Areas of Interest (AOIs)
This is a feature we’ve been working on for a while and has received lots of requests from Pupil Cloud users. We are very excited to put this into production. Use the AOI Editor to draw AOIs on reference images (from the Reference Image Mapper enrichment) or surfaces (from the Marker Mapper enrichment). Create visualizations of gaze metrics on the AOIs: time to first fixation, reach, total & avg fixation duration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUmcU8zxMF0
Timeline
You can now see enrichment results in the timeline and we have implemented zoom in the timeline!

[email removed] Yet another announcement 🙂
We've just released Neon Player v4.1
In Neon Player v4.1, we've updated the file exports to better align with those from Pupil Cloud. Notably, export timestamps are now measured in nanoseconds from the Unix epoch, and durations are measured in milliseconds. This release also includes some general maintenance and cleanup. Check out the release notes for more details.
Alongside this release, we've published new documentation for Neon Player, featuring an overview of all analysis plugins and export formats.
We look forward to your feedback!
[email removed] We've updated all Neon eye trackers with improved frame design and thermal management.
We've already started shipping updated frames for "Just act natural", "Better safe than sorry", and "All fun and games". Other frames will start shipping within the coming weeks 😎
