πŸ›‘ Important Note [email removed] using πŸ‘“ neon:

We've got exciting news! We now support Android 13 on the One Plus 10 Pro, and we want to make sure you continue to enjoy the Neon Companion App without a hitch. πŸ“±βœ¨

To keep everything running smoothly, there's a small but important step you'll need to take: Please ensure that your Android settings allow our app to operate in the background. It's super easy, and we've prepared a quick video guide right below to help you set it up in no time! πŸŽ₯πŸ‘‡

By doing this, you'll prevent the app from being closed by Android and stopping your recording.

If you need any help along the way, we're here for you. Just reach out, and we'll guide you through it

@everyoneπŸ“£ We are very excited to announce pupillometry for Neon in Pupil Cloud + a new docs website πŸ‘€

All recordings uploaded to Pupil Cloud using the most recent release of the Neon Companion App automatically run through our latest neural networks in Pupil Cloud. In addition to existing data streams, you will now get physical pupil diameter and 3D eye states both at 200 Hz!

Check out docs here: https://docs.pupil-labs.com/neon/data-collection/data-streams/#_3d-eye-states

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Important Note: You must do a hard refresh (cmd/ctrl + shift + r or shift + click on refresh button) to properly render the new docs website.

More in the pipeline. Stay tuned 😎

@everyone πŸ“£ We're pleased to announce Neon Player.

What Neon Player is desktop software that runs on Mac/Linux/Windows. Use it to playback Neon recordings, export data, and create visualizations. With the first release, Neon Player can classify Blinks and Fixations, and has a selection of useful gaze, IMU, and eye video visualization options, with more features to come.

Why We received feedback from users who were not permitted to upload data and therefore could not use Pupil Cloud. Neon Player is designed for offline users and for prototyping with plugins. For those who need to batch process multiple recordings and/or use powerful enrichments (like Reference Image Mapper), we still recommend Pupil Cloud.

How You can download recordings from Pupil Cloud or transfer recordings from your Companion Device to your computer entirely offline.

Contribute & Extend The Software is Open Source and hosted on Github, feel free to fork and make changes! We also use a plugin interface that allows anyone to add functionality with minimal effort!

Support & Consultancy We can also provide customized analysis plugins for the software as part of our support/consultancy packages, so if you have something in mind, feel free to send us an email at info@pupil-labs.com
